Mark joined me on the trip to Kansas City over Labor Day weekend, 2001.  We enjoyed the "City of Fountains" and it was very nice to have Mark as part of Team Bart for the camp events at the rodeo.  The bummer was that Mark broke a finger on Saturday in the wild drag race event. 

The rodeo proved to be fairly successful for me, although I was greatly concerned for my friend and team mate Kyle.  Kyle was the only man to cover (get scored) in bareback bronc riding.  He had a bad spill and broke a vertebra in his neck.  Fortunately, there was no neurological damage and he is recovering nicely with a neck brace on.
